The Nigerian Singer, Mr Money’ crooner, Ololade Ahmed, better known as Asake, has been announced as a performing act at the debut edition of the ‘Beer With Us Festival’ (BWUFEST) billed for Friday January 6, 2023 at the Landmark Leisure Beach, Oniru, Lagos.
Ghanaian singer and rapper, Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, better known as Black Sherif has been unveiled as one of the acts who will be joining rave of the moment cum ‘Mr Money’ crooner, Ololade Ahmed, better known as Asake, at the debut edition of the Beer With Us Festival (BWUFEST) billed to hold Friday January 6, 2023 at the Landmark Leisure Beach, Oniru, Lagos.
Reiterating on the Achievas commitment to deliver world class entertainment, Otu ja noted that ‘ BWUFEST is going to be one of the biggest festivals ever, and as such we’ve said we want only the biggest artists to perform for this festival every time it’s being hosted.
Black Sherif is one of the biggest artists from Africa, he’s on the bill because of his energy, composure and overall talent. We only work with the best and the more reason he is joining ‘ Mr. money crooner’ Asake on this.
Asake Announcing the choice of artists for the evening; Achievas Entertainment executive, Chiori Daniel Cole noted the artists were selected based on popularity demand, stage presence, crowd control and above all their impeccable personalities.
He said, “No doubt Asake has been crowned the reigning artist of 2022, what better way to usher in the new year with an energetic music flow and don’t forget records have shown that our featured act is a show killer who is 100% charged to thrill over 10,000 expected music and beer lovers.”

Shortly after Asake released his freestyle “Lady” in 2020, the song went viral which introduced him in to music lovers.
The song became so popular that prominent that it caught the attention of Nigerian influencers and celebrities such as Sydney Talker, NastyBlaq and Broda Shaggi.
Following the sucess and response to “Lady”, Asake released a new single “Mr Money” the same year, which earned him three nominations at City People Choice Award.
He received two of the three nominations, including the title of Most Popular Song of the Year. He also featured in Broda Shaggi song “Star” and DJ Exclusive “Gegeti”
Later, collaborated with Afrobeats artists Zlatan and Peruzzi on the remix for his 2020 smash track “Mr Money.”
The song earned him the nickname “Mr Money”. I’m 2021, Asake signed to Olamide’s YBNL music record label.
In February 2022, Asake was unveiled as the newest member of the label. Following the announcement, Asake later, released his self titled EP “ Ololade Asake”.
The EP became a huge success as it reached number 1 on Apple Top Album Music, earning him his first number one.
Also, the project became a hit with songs like Omo Ope, Sungba, Trabaye, and Baba God topping music charts.
